This is a super charged version of the Martingale system, (also known as the Grand Martingale), and so does have some inherent risks. If follows the Martingale System except for one point: the bet is doubled on every betting round plus an extra one unit per bet is thrown in to the pot.
So the betting progression is: (assuming you start with 1 unit)
1 – 3 – 7 – 15 – 31 – 63 – 127 – 255 – 511
Just like the Martingale, you stop when you win and clear the decks. Your next bet will again be from the beginning of the progression. This is a popular system in Roulette, but can also be utilised in Blackjack and craps.
Again, like the Martingale, most punters will use this on the near 50/50 bets. So you are betting that you will not get 8 reds in a row, for example, in the progression above.
But, careful- it’s not called the supercharged system for nothing. Sure, you win bigger if your number drops in, but you also run a greater risk and you’ll have more chips on the table should you lose.
Here at Online Roulette, we emphasise that this system, like ANY roulette system, will not increase your odds at the table or alter the house advantage in any way. But it can be a fun way of keeping your play methodical. Always play within your budget and never go over your stop loss limit.
