This is a progression system in which the profile of the sequence is less steep (and less hairy) than others, such as The Martingale. Sometimes it’s good to relax a bit and progress more slowly, instead of spending your whole time in the fast lane.
We tested the Hollandish out at Crazy Vegas- you get /£/$ 3000 free to play around with, risk free. You keep the winnings
Here’s how it works:
Begin your session by setting an amount for your betting unit. So if this is one pound, you have no maths to do. If it is two pounds, you’ll need to multiply the following units by 2 to get your actual bets, which I am sure will pose no significant problems.
You bet one “starter unit” until you record your first win. Just keep going until your luck come in. Then the idea, is to move up the following progression in steps, to claw back any losses you may have incurred.
1 – 3 – 5 – 5 – 7 – 9 etc
So in this case, you would start betting 3 on each round until you have clawed back any losses attributable to the first round. (Ring fence this off).
If you have incurred losses on this round (betting 3) you move up the progression again and bet 5 to work of losses on the previous round.
If at any stage, you have moved into profit and have worked off any losses at all levels, you drop your bet back down to the original starter level of 1 unit and begin a new sequence.
Recommended stop/loss profile on this system is normally around 50%/50%, ie stop when you are either ahead by 50% or down by 50%.
